Peter Moylan - Net Publications
This is a list of materials which I supply directly on the
net rather than through the traditional mechanism of
publication in paper journals. You can fetch these either
directly from the links on this page, or by anonymous ftp
at ee.newcastle.edu.au.
In addition to the materials mentioned below, you can also
access a list of my
conventional publications.
Documents
Software packages
- The PMOS library: a
software collection (written in Modula-2) for developing real-time
applications.
Some subsets of PMOS are also available:
- The PMOS preprocessor - you can fetch either the zip file with
full sources or the
documentation only. Preprocessor which allows you to maintain
multiple variants (e.g. versions for different compilers) of Modula-2
programs.
- Sources for low-level
graphics operations.
- 3-part
music player which lets you play music through the PC
speaker.
- Numerical analysis software
(freeware).
- C header
files for a subset of PMOS. This is a preliminary release, so don't
expect much at this stage. (The next version, if I ever get around to
it, will be significantly different and more portable. Unfortunately C
software doesn't have a high priority in my "to do" list.)
- The Net M2 project: a
cooperative volunteer effort to develop a freeware Modula-2 compiler.
Although this failed for lack of supporters, I'm keeping this page
active in case a similar project restarts.
